Islington Square

Introducing a new neighbourhood in a fancy part of London

I worked with Campbell Hay to produce a range of print brochures designed to showcase the ambitious redevelopment of an Edwardian Royal Mail sorting office into high-end apartments.

The pieces included publications detailing the homes on offer, complemented by great photography and luxury print finishes. We also created a guide to the neighbourhood, featuring interviews with local artists, designers, gallery owners and chefs.

It was important to get across the idea that this development wasn’t trying to create a cultural quarter from scratch. Islington has been the home of great artists and thinkers for centuries, so we created an additional book highlighting this rich history.

We also produced a website for the scheme that detailed all developments, included video guides to the local area, and described recommended walks that offered short tours of Islington.

As with the print copy, the writing needed to steer clear of the clichéd superlatives rife in property marketing.

“Jon’s strong tone of voice copy was invaluable for Islington Square. He’s collaborative, great with clients, good fun and overall a pleasure to work with.”
